Elevators used to be manually operated and were especially risky if the operator was tired or inebriated. Now, you just get in, press a button and a modern elevator, if inspected regularly, is extremely safe.

Since the Board approved the Plan we have seen little to nothing about how the $40 million gap is being addressed. I agree the Dr. Laura financial acumen is submarginal for a leader

@wrestlingbypir8 Don’t want it, I want their careers in academia finished. Laura inherited a dumpster fire, I’ll give her that, but her egregious lack of ethics and her abysmal financial acumen are the nails in the coffin. Ask faculty and support staff, I am sure they would agree.

The reason this matters is that a significant number of people who are supposed to be working for the government are doing so little work that they are not checking their email at all! In some cases, we believe non-existent people or the identities of dead people are being used to collect paychecks. In other words, there is outright fraud.
