The sooner you realize how sad and pathetic these people are, the better. I don’t even know them, think about them, care about them, and definitely don’t care to ever be involved with any of them. Yet, every day they seek me out to write some stupid comment based off of a falsehood that AK created. I have been to 16 countries during the timespan that they have stalked me online. Most of these people probably have not showered 16 times in the past month. They are sad and lonely and they feel “powerful” behind a screen. I will continue to rent space in their head rent free while I’m living my best life 😘😘😘

I notice that as clips and photos roll out on social media, some real and some AI edited, that some people are on edge. Let me reiterate and expand on my commentary from last night. The people harassing and obsessing over the witnesses and those who support them are creating a spectre of shame and perceived social "consequence" for simply stepping up and doing the right thing. Whether it be doing your civic duty by cooperating with police and testifying when asked, or stepping up to defend people who are being horrendously and unfairly attacked when they are unable to defend themselves. They use this phantom threat to cultivate an atmosphere of fear, which they them weaponize to silence dissent and further alienate their victims. But it's not real. No one is going to fire you from your job, disown you from your family, tar and feather you in the square for being a decent person. Whether it's answering a call to help a distraught friend at 4:30am in a blizzard, or giving the police any information you have about a crime, or using your voice to speak for someone getting absolutely dogpiled online. The only way to disarm these bad actors is to refuse that fear they want you to feel. Cast aside the illusion of "public shame." Acknowledge the fear, but let it pass through you, because it is not real. There is no consequence to being a human being, for connecting with other human beings, for being pro-social. By asserting your own strength, you build OUR strength, OUR community, and you dimish the illusion of power these people want you to think they hold. I support the mission of defendingthetruth.org. Every dollar is a vote, as they say - a vote for the truth and for basic human decency. And as we branch out, and show we are unafraid, the backlash may increase temporarily. The drama may heat up. Just know that it the tantrums of weak, small men, desperately trying to keep the illusion of being larger and more powerful than they actually are.
