Dunkirk is for me the best film of 2017. Nolan wrote a lean 76-page script, focusing on "pure cinema." He stripped away dialogue to let the visuals and Hans Zimmer’s score tell the story of survival, creating a sensory masterpiece.

Back when you were a kid, you thought every movie was supposed to end happy…there are twists & turns all the time in today’s movies…but not then, I didn’t see this one coming, the was Old Yeller… just sitting there as a kid, thinking it was another normal movie… then THAT moment hits. The room got quiet, and it felt like something real just happened. Not movie sad…real sad….I cried my eyes out that night. Old Yeller shattered that illusion…no warning, no soft landing…just a punch straight to the heart. Sitting there realizing… wait… movies don’t always end happy? That feeling stuck. Funny how growing up is just learning that life…and movies…don’t always give you the ending you were expecting. What’s the saddest movie you’ve seen?

I know I’m extremely late to the game when it comes to Game of Thrones but the last couple of weeks my wife has made me watch it. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. About to start season 3 episode 8 and my wife leans over and says “get ready” Will report back but as of right now these are my top characters I reserve the right to Change my opinion at any time. 1. Bronn (Tyrion’s guard) 2. Daenerys 3. The Hound 4. Tyrion Side note: I think the Joffrey might be a bad egg.
