A veteran councillor in #LoganLake has suddenly died. Marion Bell was first elected to council in 1994 and served until 2002. She returned to council in 2018. Mayor Robin Smith says she will be dearly missed after suffering a massive stroke today (July 15th).

Starting today, drivers are required by law to keep a safe distance from people walking and riding on BC roads. ⭐ If you cannot pass safely, then slow down to the speed of the vulnerable road user, stay back and give them space. See: bit.ly/3PZijoP

RAVE!! KAMLOOPS BIKE VALET!!! I'm in love with this. I bike daily to work, and it's always a hassle when I have meetings downtown and need a place to park my bike safely. We need this in the Upper Sahali area for groceries and other stores, even if it is smaller #Kamloops

I can't repeat myself enough to say this - the bike valet has made it easier for me to ride around downtown and northshore/upper sahali with no traffic or issues... this is your time to consider using an alt. method of transp. Forget about traffic!! #Kamloops

#Kamloops Council voted to reduce the funding for maintaining buildings and other assets as well as the Climate Action Levy—both of which will REDUCE future expenses (research shows that $1 spent on climate action saves $13-$15 in future damages). So, big tax increases later. 😖

#Kamloops City Directors Hallinan and Kwiatkowski speaking about how extreme weather events have been hammering our City and its finances over the past decade. Yet Council leans against fully funding the #ClimateAction Plan, which includes infrastructure preparedness? Hmmm...
