@newscientist Maybe because people aren't able to see a GP and are missing early diagnosis of problems that once diagnosed they then cant see the specialist due to waiting times, or heaven forbid they become ill suddenly and need an ambulance and emergency treatment... not a chance.

@ChrisGPackham can you help? I live in N. Devon where the A361 is being widened. The rdworks have barriers on 1 side, stopping hedgehogs getting across the rd and consequently being killed. I've put it on Facebook, emails have gone to contractor, basically they're doing nothing.
