During Hunger Awareness month we would like to highlight @HungryHarvest, who have been providing boxed produce to families we support. They believes that access to fresh produce should be a right, not a privilege and we couldn’t agree more.

Today our team collaborated with great orgs during a day of action surrounding the White House’s Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health. We also implemented a Pantry at @kmmslions, which is a place where students can receive food and toiletries on an as needed basis. @dcck

During Hunger Awareness month we would like to highlight @DCSoccerClub for helping us fight childhood hunger here in the District. They helped organize a donation drive and the food and toiletries collected will be distributed to our Pantry schools. ⚽️

During Hunger Awareness month we would like to highlight our steadfast partners at @dcck , who not only continue to support our efforts but have formally partnered with us for our Pantry Program. They’re bringing the kitchen home & we’re thrilled to be part of their journey!

During Hunger Awareness month we would like to highlight Starbucks partners (employees) & The @Starbucks Foundation for recognizing how we are making our communities stronger. Our team received a @starbucks Community Grant last month to help us kick off programs this fall. ☕️💚

BIG NEWS! @amazon has partnered with DC Food Project to help address food insecurity in DC. This comes at a great time as we kick off our programs during Hunger Awareness Month. We will use Amazon’s donation towards our Pantry Program to purchase snacks & toiletries.

Thanks to Starbucks partners & The @Starbucks Foundation for recognizing how we are making our community stronger. This grant will allow us to purchasing non-perishable food and toiletry items for our school Pantries, which supports students on an as needed basis. @StarbucksNews

Today is #InternationalWomensDay. We wanted to give a shout out to all the amazing women out there running businesses & organizations, solving problems, making changes & providing a path for a more diverse, equitable, & inclusive world. #BreakTheBias

Community Bag distributions are our favorite days. This year our team has been able to provide food access to over 800 pre-identified students and families across 13 schools in the city with the help of our amazing partners at @dcck. Learn more at dcfoodproject.org

Throughout winter break next week, the DC Central Kitchen mobile meals truck will be making stops at 11 of @dcpublicschools to ensure our students and families have nutritious & delicious lunches to enjoy during vacation! 🏫 🍽️ See the meal delivery schedule below. ⬇️
