Sunday-Monday snow -- Our latest expectations!!! * We've fine-tuned snow totals but have not increased them except along the Bay and around Baltimore. * Rain/snow mix expected Sunday, starting early in the morning. Temps too warm for much accumulation until night, except on grass and in higher spots toward mountains. * Precip becomes mostly snow toward Sunday night...wind also picks up -- that's when most accumulation expected, lasting into Monday morning. Low visibility, slick roads at times. * Areas that get 4"+ might see power outages b/c of weight of snow/winds (gusts to 30 mph) * Amounts could still be adjusted and may vary quite a bit over short distances. * Expect school/fed gov closings/delays Monday

Now that it’s finally 40° out, I was hoping to get back on my regular outdoor pickleball courts… but they’re still covered in a solid sheet of ice. At this point I’m either asking for a blowtorch next Christmas or a curling broom so I can start training for the 2030 Winter Olympics.

Why is the media rooting against healthy kids? We don’t have a funding problem. We had a political will problem. It is more than possible to serve a REAL food meal (with whole foods proteins, vegetables, whole grains) for under $4.60. It is more than possible for America to not poison children under current budget levels. School procurement programs have been a piggy bank for junk food companies. Lunchables and Doritos were deemed as healthy snacks. Now, that money will go to farmers. The force of MAHA voters have now given children (who are getting slaughtered by chronic disease) a seat at the table. That’s what’s been missing.

Look, I get it — being a fan of the Burgundy & Gold hasn’t exactly been easy over the past three decades. Last season gave us hope, but this one’s felt more like a nightmare. What I don’t get is how some in the fanbase are already ready to tank for a draft pick or shut Jayden down for the season. A. The young man needs reps — plain and simple. If he’s healthy, he should be out there learning, growing, and battling. B. There are still 10 games left in this season. That’s a lot of football left to play. I feel for those who have checked out, but I’m proud to know that for every person jumping off the bandwagon, there’s another like my brother @RallyCaptain — ready to go down with the ship and ride for this team no matter what. There are 52 other players on this roster who deserve our energy, our noise, and our belief. Now isn’t the time to give up — it’s time to rally around the squad and remind them that win, lose, or draw… we’re still here.
