In honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we're inviting you to join us at "Brave Soul 20: The Anniversary Performance," an evening of theatrical performances, monologues, and a post-show discussion to commemorate Brave Soul Collective's 20th Anniversary.

.@NWS_BaltWash has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the District of Columbia until 8:45PM. At 5:44 PM, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain will move across DC area. Expected rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches in 20 minutes are anticipated.

There's no better city in the world to have hosted WorldPride 2025! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️   From the Capital Sports Cup to the Pride Parade this past weekend, DC showed up and showed out to celebrate across all eight wards.

WorldPride 2025 is a wrap!   Since the beginning of May, DC hosted over 370 events celebrating community and supporting local orgs and businesses.   To our partners, to our visitors, and to residents across all eight wards who made this celebration a success: thank you. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

April 26th, 2025 is a historic moment for DC as the new DC LGBTQ+ Community Center is officially open! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Located at 1828 Wiltberger Street, NW, the new location of this community resource will be a safe space with dedicated programming for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, we celebrate the contributions of DC's trans community to Washington, DC, and we recognize the unique challenges trans individuals face.   We are proud to join in honoring #TDOV. 🏳️‍⚧️
