@drakesmith__ Awaiting delivery on mine through wedgeworks. Very excited for the k*
English

If you are a better player and want a versatile wedge these things are awesome.
I personally like the K* and have one coming to me.
I didn't realize until recently they made these available to the public.
Tour players have always had some of these personal grind profiles and I was always jealous because they felt so good to hit.
These things are for better players that want to be able to hit all of the shots.
I put the link in the comments.

@adamyounggolf Adam I am so keen, have access to trackman and always export my reports.
Going to buy a mevo gen 2 as well.
English

• Set the hole location on Apple Watch
• Quick club selector on Apple Watch
• Live tracking indicator on Apple Watch and iPhone
• Easy flip to map-based entry in-round if you miss a shot (I always plug in putts and chips using the map, rather than GPS).
• Full visibility into every shot you’ve tracked during the round and easy edits
• Tap to track once at the start of your shot. Once to pick a club (if you want). Eliminated need to confirm lie and location when you arrive at your ball.
• Easy edits! Insert and add shots. Delete and start over is an option - not a requirement.
• Local Rule E-5 two-stroke penalty drop.
I used to tell people that Shot Pattern is not for every golfer because the shot tracking experience is just too high touch. That changes with this update. So smooth. So intuitive. Flexible so that it never becomes a burden.
If you care about your stats, my hope is that Shot Pattern is now the clear winner in the GPS app space.
My honest take on reasons to use other products:
Arccos: Use it if you want to put the air in your pocket and never touch a device. (You can dump your dispersion stats into Shot Pattern!) Great if you play the same course and don’t need strategy visuals often.
TheGrint/Golf GameBook: If social features are the priority, these are good options. Shot Pattern is focused on performance.
18 Birdies/GolfShot: If you just want to track fairways, greens, and putts, these are simpler options for getting those basic stats.
GolfPad: You have an Android phone. (Sorry Android users (for now)!)
ETA for this new version is 7-14 days away. If, once it goes live, you find that any of the above doesn’t match your experience, please let me know. The work on this never stops and there’s so much more to come!

@kurtmatthewson @mfinneygolf Step 1 understand and experiment. Step 2..
In all likelihood I'm going to be more aware to see if I can feel the centre of mass below that plane or not, and be aware of what the force direction and hand coupling is doing, as opposed to swinging a broadsword.
English

@DC_GSHealth @mfinneygolf Now that you understand it, what exactly are you going to do at your next range session to execute control your “net force direction”?

@JezData Looks awesome! Can not so compete amateurs use it? I tried a few Australian courses as home course and it didn't pop up yet.
English

@AndrewRiceGolf @PingTour That's actually super interesting. Going to be doing some experimenting!
English

Please look through this data! It could really help your long approach shots. @PingTour

There's a swing tip that's been handed down through generations of golf instruction: sweep your woods. It sounds reasonable, but it's also a little more nuanced than that. Read more: glfdig.st/e5cc50YBpU1

@OCMGolf @KingstonHeathGC Biggest regret is not leaving myself enough time to play it after my round. Will have to go back I guess 🤷♂️
English

In '22 we took 13 acres of market garden left of the 12th hole at @KingstonHeathGC & created a new 9-hole short course. “The Furrows” features 9 holes, played from 70m - 140m & designed to give golfers the same experience as playing the main course, albeit from a shorter distance
