Soft launching a new DARKO site/format, as I've decided to embrace the vibe-coded future. This is still in Beta and being built out rapidly, and as you can see, I'm testing out design elements in production here. This reads like the Hornets used a 3rd party to help them convert college video (which lacks the sophistication of nba video captured in arena) to generate tracking data akin to Second Spectrum… folks shouldn’t read this as “AI told us to draft Kon” …

@NathanCHubbard @JustinRayGolf you could of course do some analysis about SG distribution (mu,sigma) for a given player and then see how far outside that distro the aforementioned sample falls. that would give you a decent idea of how likely/unlikely said performance is, though still doesn't prove causality

@NathanCHubbard @JustinRayGolf depends if you want to prove causality that a players' performance above/below expectation is DUE TO the fact that its a final round in content. there isn't a metric for that ... just doing SG/hole when in contention on sunday could be noise vs causality...
