I picked up a rat today. 😩 We could put a dent in our rodent problem if we deployed a new strategy for our public trash and recycling cans. What we have now looks aesthetically pleasing, but they lack the functionality we need to stop rodents and illegal dumping.

@BarredinDC This weekend our family had something similar & decided to drive and both parents going, with one dropped off early at the door with the kiddo, while the other circles the block tries to park. Worked out thankfully at midday there were non-reserved/protected spots.

Taking kid to non metro accessible, street parking only, further than walking distance bday party today. Should we just take rideshare? Street parking seems impossible ?

Wonder how many tourists will chose not to use them now that an hour will now be $9 right, vs just $3 it is now. Recognize they are typically rented for far less than an hour so perhaps that won’t deter nonmembers use.
