Tuesday night, DCSWCD held our Annual Durham County Farmer Appreciation Dinner. We recognized R Farms with the DCo Farm Family of the Year Award and inducted Eddie Culberson into the DCo Farm Heritage Hall of Fame. Congrats!

We had a great time with Bethesda Elementary at our 3rd Grade Field Day today! We discussed wetlands, their functions, and all the plants and animals that live there. Thanks to @CityofDurhamNC Public Works, @EPA, & @ncforestservice for joining us!

Yesterday, we hosted the annual Durham City and County Employee Big Sweep event. We collected 39 bags of trash and 16 bags of recycling from Camden Avenue and Junction Road! @CityofDurhamNC @DurhamCounty @DurhamBeautiful

We had a great time at @DurhamCountyLib's Fall Ball for All this past Saturday! We connected with residents, shared resources on our programs, and had several crafts for visitors to make. Thanks for having us!
