@DD2705 I’ve read it takes a 32,000 attendance for the Gaa to break even if they open Croke Park. I agree that these hurlers should get the chance to play, but I understand the financial impacts. But also, I wonder how many will attend the football finals to put this into perspective.

Great to see the Division 3 and 4 football finals been held at Croke Park. Do the Divsion 3 and 4 hurlers deserve to have their finals held at Croke Park? I know attendance may be less but players surely deserve the chance to play at HQ? #gaa

Not certain of the rule but Down got a free a few seconds before the hooter sounded. The ref then called half time before free was taken . I’d thought the free would be allowed? #gaa

I don’t think #AFCON are going to find it easy to get the trophy from Senegal. They played Peru today at the Stade de France and paraded the trophy beforehand

I don't understand this...while Israel is under bombardment by ballistic missiles with many casualties..in this area in the West Bank the decision is made by extremists to go out and attack civilians...it's deeply troubling. Why would anyone do this? They could be volunteering to help in Arad or Dimona instead. Such a disconnect and horror
