@bryandeno Seton hall and St John’s are in a league of their own regarding physical play. Off ball holding and bumping, grabbing slapping on ball, holding on ball with one arm to prevent quick first step. All good, but UConn is not in their league in that regard.

UConn made big shots when they needed them. Alex Karaban and Solo Ball. Credit the stars. But they also benefitted from a huge home whistle. Assist to the stripes. UConn plays every bit as physical as Seton Hall. Fouls were 22 to 10. 14 to 4 in the second half.

@MaacTheft Seton Hall and St John’s must not be aware of the two hands rule. They hold ever other play off the ball and hold with one arm on the ball carrier. UConn got a good whistle for once. I’ll take it.

The “UConn is a national championship contender” talk needs to stop. Are they a good team? Yes. Are they beating Duke, Houston, Michigan, Arizona? No, not even close.
