Tyler Heineman, we hate to see tears at the locker. Hope everything is okay in your personal life. You're a big part of the team and we rely on you. The accountability is appreciated. We still love you; just shake it off and be better going forward long season ahead

It was fully made to throw shade against Italy see my reply to your post for reasoning… but when someone that’s deeply hurt by Italy missing the World Cup replies they are upset and soccer canada replies “so I can assume you aren’t coming” instead of “this isn’t meant to be a jab at Italy or rub salt in the wound but just trying to push Canadian pride” that’s where their intent was clear

@mrfrankcurious @CanadaSoccerEN No one is expecting Canada to win anything. Making it out of the group will be a challenge itself. I understood where Soccer Canada was coming from. It wasn't meant to trash on Italy or Italian soccer - cause they knew if Italy did advance, the crowd would've been heavily split

Yet everyone piled hate on a harmless @CanadaSoccerEN post the other day - for no reason. And this was all free, too. People just hate on anything and everything. Look how many Canadians showed up. Great initiative. Go Canada!! #CANMNT #FIFAWorldCup🍁🇨🇦⚽️

Hundreds lined up for 'Forza Canada' @CANMNT_Official jersey swap at Cafe Diplomatico. All the jerseys were gone within minutes. Canada Soccer never took the jerseys, they just handed out 2026 kits and posters. Well done 🇨🇦 (viz via @CanadaSoccerEN) @TSN_Sports @TSNSoccer

Jacob I love your stuff and usually agree with you, the post was very poor taste should have always been marketed as just a jersey giveaway, Italian Canadians who have parents born in Italy have beautiful memories with their parents and grandparents growing up watching their native land…the loss and World Cup miss hurts so much…and having the country we live in who we happily also support rub salt in the wound was very very poor taste..you can say it was a harmless giveaway but the replies from soccer Canada to upset fans indicated it was clearly not an innocent giveaway post

This isn't working right now for Brendon Little. He has an option remaining, which means this doens't need to be an extreme (or permanent) move. A reset in Buffalo would clearly be beneficial. There's no such thing as "early" in the AL East. These are all big games. #BlueJays

& this is exactly the type of response that @CanadaSoccerEN has incited by their ill-thought-out promotion. Exactly the opposite of what they are looking to accomplish.

@Kubani7 That's the point, we don't want you cursed hunchbacks ruining our chances this summer.

The team did not qualify it was a failure and it is an embarrassment.. that’s never been denied.. but Canada soccer official page posting something like that which will knowingly rub salt in the wounds of a large portion of people who would support them anyways is wrong… also pretending it’s not meant to be shade or a jab is even More disappointing, if you read their replies it’s clear the point was to cause problems

I agree as a Canadian Italian I was never rooting against Canada, my parents were born in Italy, I grew up watching Italy and have a deep rooted connection, I also cheer for Canada. This post from Canada soccer is very disappointing, it’s just unnecessary. Why not also ask for Greeks to trade their jersey in, or any other nation not in it that has a large base in Canada?

I previously criticized Como but I was uninformed, Como has committed to Italian development, and publically stated it as well as are showing their commitment, they have invested a ton in Italian youth in their development teams, Fabregas has also said he intends to use domestic talent but they have to develop them from within as all the league ready talent is either already with a big club or doesn’t exist… Como is starting to do what we actually need as a nation and you will start seeing these youth products play on the senior team in the next few years

@CanadaSoccerEN @Berto_AJC This post was definitely shade and that’s how many Italian Canadians took it, so instead of saying it’s not maybe just be better next time, I was always planning on cheering for both Italy and Canada, but this post and pettiness makes it less sweet.

This is shameful. “Our Game Now” I live in Canada and support the MNT as a CandaRed member and this is beyond embarrassing For a nation that has only qualified three damn times and won nothing can you show some fucking humility Just go and perform. Stop the nonsense

I get that it sucks to lose series to Colorado and lose game 1 against white Sox, and you never want to give away wins even though it is a long season each win matters, but every team goes through periods of ups and downs… very long season, positive was little looked good today. Bats need to wake up. If you think about it 2 of the 3 losses were heavily influenced by a mid game injury that would throw off any team mentally
