We were alerted to this dog weeks ago—told she had a “guardian” but was left with severe neurological issues after being spayed. She tested negative for distemper. Now she’s with us. We’ve named her Babe 💔 She arrived emaciated, covered in ticks, weak, and wounded. Her condition has worsened significantly. Babe is critically anaemic and fighting babesiosis—a deadly tick-borne disease common in Sri Lanka. She’s receiving treatment, and we’re doing everything we can to save her. It's so hard trying to save these poor souls without covering the costs to do so. We get demands to help some tragic cases every day of the week-there is no respite...
