This morning, whilst attending to a patient, one of our ambulance crews noticed smoke coming from a neighbouring house in Tallaght. The crew immediately ran to the house and rescued a person from one of the rooms. Fire crews from Tallaght and Dolphin's Barn extinguished the fire.

Today, our Chief Fire Officer, Patrick Fleming, retired. A special off-going parade was held to mark this occasion. Pat has served as our Chief for 6 years, and has spent 15 years of his 40 year career with DFB. We wish him well in the next chapter of his life.

Earlier in West Dublin, one of our crews identified a STEMI heart attack and transported the patient directly to a PPCI centre. Time of onset to surgical intervention < 60 minutes.

Cycling through d park tonight came across a fella who had overdosed on heroin. If it wasent for Ethan god knows what could've happend the poor chap, managed to keep him alive until emergency services came. Great to see his college work & experince paying off, what a lad
