Always great to catch up with my good friend, @USAMBTurkiye. Thank you for your leadership and dedicated service to our country. We have important work to do together!

I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, a true American patriot and proud South Carolinian. Whenever we spoke, Senator Graham was always sharp and to the point in a gracious and friendly manner only he could achieve. He brought conviction, his signature quick wit, and good humor to every conversation. A tireless champion of American foreign policy and national security, his leadership will leave a lasting mark on our country. My heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, colleagues, and staff.

It was a pleasure meeting with Chilean Foreign Minister @MinPerezMac and Ambassador Ergas Heymann to discuss opportunities across telecom, energy, and minerals and mining. Shared priorities build strong partnerships. @DFCgov is committed to investing in the Western Hemisphere, and to mobilizing private capital for strategic infrastructure that strengthens the economic partnership between Chile and the United States.

250 years ago, our Founding Fathers declared that Americans would chart our own course, forging a future defined by financial and political independence. Leaders like Alexander Hamilton developed an American economic system which transformed the fledgling Republic into the most powerful and prosperous country in the history of the world. On our semiquincentennial, that engine of prosperity is carried forward by our nation's most financially savvy @POTUS, Donald Trump, to set the historic economic and national security agenda that drives @DFCgov’s mission. American Economic Statecraft is back.

Last week America’s Deal Team, led by @DFC_CEO, traveled to Central Asia to fulfill President @realDonaldTrump’s commitment to make our partnership with Central Asia stronger than ever before.

Congratulations to my good friend @UnderSecE on a successful #PaxSilica Summit today. Under President Trump’s leadership, America can – and will – win the global race for AI. To lead the next generation of innovation, we must build AI infrastructure on secure telecom networks operated by trusted partners. @DFCgov is committed to this effort and I am confident we can meet the challenge ahead.

During my travel to Central Asia last week, @DFCgov’s deal team laid the groundwork for transitioning Kazakhstan’s telecom infrastructure to trusted vendors. Back on the ground in Washington yesterday, I enjoyed meeting with Minister @Zhaslan_Madiyev and @KZAmbUS to continue moving our partnership and President Trump’s economic security agenda forward.

Brilliant speech, @SecScottBessent, and what a tribute to America as we celebrate our 250th birthday. Our Founders pioneered economic statecraft to secure America’s global position. Under President Trump, @DFCgov is reviving our proud tradition of investing for America. 🇺🇸

Last year on the sidelines of @POTUS’s inaugural Board of Peace meeting in Washington, DC, I announced a plan for @DFCgov to partner with the Government of Uzbekistan to identify and mobilize investments that benefit both our countries. Now – here in Tashkent, Uzbekistan – we’re launching our joint investment platform. Promises made. Promises kept. A new era of American-Uzbek strategic cooperation is underway.

Great discussion at the 2026 Uzbekistan-U.S. Annual Business Forum with my friend @JJovanovicUSA, UZ Foreign Minister Kudratov, and Elena V. Son-LaRocco. The world is waking up to the potential of Uzbekistan. @DFCgov will play an essential role in connecting investment to industry in Uzbekistan and stands ready to partner with best-in-class operators and investors to usher in the next decade of rapid economic growth.

Thank you @president_uz and @SMirziyoyeva for your deep commitment to the U.S.-Uzbekistan partnership. Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States is forging new ties with Central Asia and pledging support for partners who share our vision for stability and growth. Together, we celebrated the launch of our U.S.–Uzbekistan Joint Investment Platform to explore investments across infrastructure and logistics, mining and minerals, and especially financial and digital payment services. I look forward to investing in the next chapter of Uzbekistan’s growth with you. 🇺🇸🤝🇺🇿

This week, @DFCgov announced a monumental agreement to expand trusted vendors’ access to Kazakhstan's digital network. While our adversaries exploit digital networks for strategic gain, DFC is leading the effort to keep them reliable, secure, and ready to support next generation technology and AI. Allies and partners willing to work with DFC to build stable and independent digital networks, free from adversary control, can count on us to join them on the front lines of this important work.

Great discussion with President @TokayevKZ in Astana. We look forward to partnering on trusted digital networks, critical minerals production, and robust logistics corridors that support Kazakhstan’s continued growth and prosperity.

What a privilege to tour the new Almaty Museum of Arts’ spectacular collection with the museum’s founder and renowned Kazakh business leader Nurlan Smagulov. Thanks to Nurlan’s leadership Almaty Kazakhstan is now home to the largest contemporary art museum in Central Asia. Highly recommend!
