@HMRCcustomers it's 4 days since I made my SA online payment but it isn't showing on my account. I presume there is no penalty if you don't update my account before the deadline?

@HMRCgovuk please can you do something about your Self Assessment pay by bank account process. It has been saying "We're very busy at the moment, try again in 5 minutes" for the last 2hrs. It's pretty obvious that this will be the busiest week where people need access to pay.

@TfL x.com/i/status/19991… technically,yes,but in reality it's simply not true. You have ⬆️ the daily price cap. As a result,my return fare from zone 9 to 1 has ⬆️ from £20.50 to £24.60. A mere 20%!Smoke & mirrors!An ⬆️ by the back🚪. Poor show @TfL & @MayorofLondon come clean!

@koolard @Vitality_UK 1 treat 👎🏻 I work hard to hit max points every month & so unhappy I now have to do this stupid game as an extra step. ‘It only takes 1 min’ they say but they rely on you forgetting so they can scam you out of rewards 🙃 Hasn’t logged any activity points/steps since 30 Apr either

@Vitality_UK your new pick & play is truly awful.After 10yrs as a member,this is the worst change you've made (to an already glitchy app).Pot luck to get rewards that were previously activity based, esp when I keep picking blanks. Total misjudgement of your audience.Such a shame.

@Peston But at those levels you can only contribute a maximum of £4k p.a. under the taper rules, over which you pay 45%. So the increase to £60k is irrelevant.

To be clear, this is a bung to the rich - those earning up to £240,000 a year - but not the super-rich, because the ability to claim relief on pension contributions tapers to zero for those on incomes of £240,000 and above

For top rate tax payers who have already stopped saving for a pension because they’ve reached their lifetime limit, the abolition of the limit looks to me like an annual £27,000 a year tax saving - because most will restart saving. Quite a bung for the rich #Budget2023
