On February 24th, Nogales Officers stopped almost 18,000 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition from being smuggled in a vehicle traveling to Mexico.

.@DFOTucson officers seized 412.70 lbs of meth and 53.35 lbs of fentanyl pills hidden within vehicles on an inbound rail auto carrier. A train with 118 rail cars was inspected during enforcement, revealing narcotics hidden in one of the auto carrier cars. Every pound seized is a life potentially saved.

A vehicle loaded to the gills with narcotics was stopped by CBP Officers at the Tucson Field Office. Bundles were found concealed in the speaker box, firewall, and quarter panels. Over 65 pounds of methamphetamine and 20 pounds of fentanyl pills, equating to roughly 73,000 pills, were uncovered.
