This young man was struggling financially while working at Dollar General. He learned on a Reddit Thread how to take customer returns and put the money back on his card instead of theirs, letting the customer think they received it.
When he was finally caught, he admitted to what he was doing and offered to pay the store back. Pretty sure this is the most polite thief I've ever listened to.

It's valid in a large enough sample. 5-10 PAs against a pitcher? No. Devers "sees" Cole's pitch types, arm angle, spin, and all that very well which he's shown throughout his career. 8 HRs in like 46 PAs

Alright kids, buckle up. Here's why BvP is completely, 100% meaningless. Even if you think a certain batter "sees" a certain pitcher well, or his swing plane matches the pitch plane well, or any other plausible explanation for it, the fact is we're dealing with sample sizes too small. And that's not lip service. If a batter is 5-for-10 against a pitcher for a legitimate reason, there will be 10 others just like him that are 5-for-10 by random chance. By trying to be "right" about that one guy, you wind up being wrong about many others. You wind up being less accurate and less profitable if you're trying to use this for betting. You simply can't separate the legitimate guys from the random guys, which makes the entire exercise... yes, meaningless.
