Because Trump has gone straight for their most sensitive personal interests, and every single one of them is going to pay a real price. They glorify dying as martyrdom but they also know full well it’s not for everyone. Only a small, select circle of big shots ever get that ‘honor’ and become the martyrs everyone chants about. The average guy, the mid-level operators, the families and hangers-on, They stay safely on the sidelines and never have to face it. But this, this drags everyone down together. Without exceptions.
