"A River Runs Under Your Feet" has been officially unveiled this evening at the corner of Guildford Street 🎉 The new artwork showcases photography from near the River Lea's source in Leagrave by local artist Abi Spendlove, with the final design voted for by residents 📸 It’s also a chance to learn about our river's rich heritage and ecology. Whenever I make a cup of tea for myself, I pretend to be a cheesy magician by fanning a few teabags out and saying "pick a teabag" to my mug. But when I'm making a few cups, I pretend to be dealing in a high stakes poker game, shuffle them like mad, and "deal" them into the mugs.
