Fun picture one of our first investors just sent me of me, @zatlyn, and @icqheretic (the cofounding team of @Cloudflare) from the back patio of our first office (542 Emerson in Palo Alto) circa 2010. Best advice for founders: take more pictures.

@CouponPicked @ybhrdwj To be fair Vestaboard offers a simulator for free at web.vestaboard.com but it’s still cool and flattering @ybhrdwj

The real story here is the comments demanding this be free or $5. A guy builds a $199 alternative to a $3,500 product — 94% cheaper — and the internet says he's overcharging. This is exactly why every software company eventually pivots to subscriptions. One-time purchases get roasted, recurring revenue gets tolerated. We did this to ourselves.

@NWischoff Maybe there are other private clubs (I know there are companies) but private clubs in public parks can’t be good for the soul.

Hey @stripe: is this business "real"?
Send us the URL of a business and we’ll score if it is intentionally deceptive, impersonating another site, sells counterfeit products, or is otherwise low quality or fraud-y.
Looking for a few well-qualified companies to try this out. 🕵️🔎

I just had Claude Code build me a Facebook ad generator that can make 100+ on-brand ad variations in minutes for $0. And I made a full Notion document guide for you.
It includes:
1. How to use Claude to find the pain points and desired outcomes of your ICP
2. How to use these pain points and outcomes to write ad copy variations
3. How to build a Facebook ad template entirely with code (just like the ones you see)
4. How focus Claude Code’s design so the ad feels “on-brand”
5. How to export the Facebook ads as PNGs in a zip file
6. How to bulk upload them to a Facebook ad set
7. How to use an AI data analyst to track the success of these ads
Everything above is just API calls and Claude Code doing the work for you.
You just come up with the ideas and polish the outputs.
Like and comment "generator" and I'll send the Notion document to you

This is a good example of why companies should feel comfortable talking about diversity at work.

Most of my non-coding workday now looks like this — a word salad into Claude, who just “gets it” — and it produces a webpage; which can then be rendered into a doc, a slide, a spreadsheet, a chart, whatever.
The “gets it” feels newly possible since Opus 4.5. Not only can I get into a flow state, it’s genuinely fun! And it’s why I haven’t touched Gamma or any Google Suite products in weeks.

@jhong @danprimack It strikes me as very risky to to the US have one person controlling a $2 trillion+ company performing all ai and space work for the US government. Ideally US officials, who will happily throw their personal money into a deal, set up guardrails. Or congress should.

My guess is it makes perfect sense to me, from two perspectives;
1. SpaceX is potentially the highest value and Elon has supervoting shares in it. Collapsing them together into one entity may make him ultimately have complete control of the remaining entity , something he lacks in Tesla right now. Most posts I see seem to think this is about flowing money but I think it's more about consolidating control. My guess is he merges SpaceX and x.ai, takes that public with supervoting control intact, then has that entity acquire Tesla.
Full control secured.
2. X.ai is developing the brain, Tesla is developing the body (and has the manufacturing prowess to build lots of them), and SpaceX is developing the food needed to grow and expand. Food is essentially energy, and space is where they think they can get it most efficiently.
Without SpaceX they will have a baby with no food.
Also if it is easier and cheaper to scale AI in space, they will need that advantage to compete with Google's cost advantage on compute (less reliance on Nvidia).

@TheRealMadOx @JackPosobiec @JoshShapiroPA Like do you and Jack know what anti-semitism is referring to in Josh’s post?
English

@JackPosobiec @JoshShapiroPA This is too good to be true. Shapiro is his own worst enemy.

Hi @JoshShapiroPA! Me again. I see you are attacking JD to NBC for not using the word ‘Jews’ in his Holocaust post
You, yourself, did the same exact thing in your own tweet
You’re a total joke, Josh!

I love that people are community noting @BarackObama that "he did it too" when the entire premise of the current rise to power was that it wasn't being done the right way.
