Launched the Vision Document on Narcotics Control at the 10th Apex-Level Meeting of the NCORD held in New Delhi today. A comprehensive, timebound guideline to achieve Modi Ji's mission against narcotic drugs, the document capitalises on the modern, intelligence-led, tech-driven and network-centric approach of our anti-narcotics apparatus to deal a lethal blow to the menace. Crafted to detect, disrupt and destroy the evil, the strategy lays down the roadmap for the next three years to build an unbreachable bulwark shielding our youth from the claws of the drug cartels.

The Up Ramp of Atal Setu on NH-748 shall remain temporarily closed to vehicular traffic for a period of four days, from 22/06/2026 to 25/06/2026, due to ongoing maintenance/repair works. During the above period, vehicular traffic proceeding from the Old Goa side and intending to travel towards Porvorim via the Atal Setu Up Ramp on NH-748 shall be diverted through Merces Circle and shall be allowed to access Atal Setu through the Up Ramp on NH-66. In order to prevent traffic congestion at Merces Circle, motorists are advised to follow the traffic arrangements given below: Light motor vehicles travelling from South Goa towards Panaji are advised to use the Santa Cruz Road via Bambolim or alternatively the Goa University Road. Light motor vehicles travelling from the Ponda–Old Goa side towards Panaji are advised to proceed via Old Goa – Ribandar Causeway – Divja Circle. Heavy vehicles shall not be permitted to proceed towards Porvorim due to the ongoing construction work of the Elevated Corridor at Porvorim. Motorists are requested to cooperate with the traffic arrangements, follow traffic signages and directions issued by traffic personnel, and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
