VIDEO | Goa marks a new chapter in smart policing with the launch of PRISM and the e-Zero FIR system by Goa CM Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The centralised intelligence fusion centre will enhance surveillance, assist investigations, and enable real-time tracking of criminals and missing persons, strengthening cybercrime response and citizen safety under the Digital India mission. In the second consecutive week of focused monitoring, PRISM – Intelligence Fusion Centre, Crime Branch, has successfully solved 10 cases involving 11 missing persons across the State. With this, a total of 18 missing persons have been traced in the past two weeks in close coordination with concerned Police Stations. The outcomes reflect PRISM’s sustained efforts in strengthening law enforcement in the state.

QuickPass is an example of smart policing, launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa in February 2025. It enables the issuance of a QR code to commuters after police verification, which remains valid for the next 24 hours. If the vehicle is stopped again during this period, the QR code can be scanned by police personnel for quick verification.
