My performance in the last few events has been quite disappointing, not just for me, but for all of you who support me. In order to find my best form my team and I have decided that I should compete with slightly less intensity over the next few months. Consequently, we feel it is in my best interest to skip long events away from home to allow for more dedicated training time. With this in mind, I approached the Grand Chess Tour organizers and asked to play only two European Rapid & Blitz events. They were very supportive and understanding, and we agreed that I would participate in the Rapid & Blitz tournaments in Warsaw and Zagreb this year. I’m very grateful for their support. Respectfully, I am not planning to play any other events during the Grand Chess Tour schedule and will certainly be back for the full Grand Chess Tour in the future".

The full field of nine full-tour 2026 #GrandChessTour players has been revealed, featuring reigning World Champion Gukesh Dommaraju and reigning GCT Champion Fabiano Caruana! With a $2 million prize fund, the world’s best will compete across the tour, with the season culminating at the GCT Finals in Saint Louis, the U.S. Chess Capital. Full tour participants will compete in both classical tournaments and two of three rapid & blitz events. Wildcard players for all events to be announced at a later date. Always enjoyed the excellent hospitality in Kolkatta , fully packed house, huge fan support and extremely strong playing field that makes @tschessindia R&B event very special one! Unfortunately i had to skip this year and will be missing the fun but sure be back for its future events and wish this year event a great success!

It has mostly been natural and I have been similar outside of Chess too but last couple of years I’m more engaging and open outside of Chess but it was never through effort everything happened on its own

On a normal day around 6 hours but if I have a game that day for sure its less becayse playing itself takes a few hours and I need energy for that

For sure there is extra pressure and I feel it too but with each change I have adapted sooner or later in my career so far and I’m sure I will do that this time too!

I think there is nothing to be surprised about all of them got a chance and made the most of it and that is what sport is you cant say I’m stronger so I deserve to be there you need to show up and perform and all the guys there did that! I am working on improving myself now!

I have no plans of doing that and I highly doubt it will happen in the future too but there are many great creators who do a lot for Chess!

Training with computers has benefits and drawbacks and you learn a lot of new concepts and makes work easier but if it crosses the line it can kill some of the creativity
