We are grateful to our dedicated @TSA officers who screened a record number of passengers this weekend. It’s just one reason I am proud to give our TSOs the largest pay increase in the agency's history, ensuring they are compensated comparably to all other federal employees.

We’ll continue to ask Congress to support solutions like providing the resources we requested, more asylum officers & immigration judges, & passing the immigration reform that is so desperately needed. Fundamentally we are operating within a system that everyone agrees is broken.

This Administration’s management of the border has resulted in significant drops in unlawful border crossings as we have returned to fully enforcing our immigration laws under Title 8.

This case was part of a pattern in which some state officials have tried to use the courts to undermine our work to build a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system.

We are staying ahead of evolving threats by leveraging advanced tech to protect our homeland from next generation threats. Yesterday, components from across DHS demonstrated our Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems capabilities, which are already deployed & keeping Americans safe.

I was proud to uplift the selfless service of 58 of DHS colleagues and their #legacyofservice at yesterday's Secretary Awards in San Antonio, Texas. We thank them for proudly serving our Department and upholding our DHS mission.

Title 42 has expired. The border is not open - we are still enforcing US law.

The Biden-Harris Administration is using every available tool to humanely manage the border. But as DHS’s Blas Nuñez-Neto put it, “We are not a dictatorship. We are a democracy. That means that there are limits to what the President can do on his own without Congress.”
