ABC has a federal broadcast license. This allows ABC access to billions of dollars of taxpayer funded infrastructure to send programming into every home in America.
The Blaze does not have this. My show does not have this. Fox News does not have this.
But ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS do. We are paying for Jimmy Kimmel's Trump and Charlie Kirk assassination jokes with our tax dollars, by force of the federal government.
There are strict 'decency' and 'public interest' broadcast rules that come with this lavish taxpayer funded broadcast license privilege. Kimmel broke those rules by constantly promoting assassination culture. The FCC has every right to crack down -- and should.

I want to make it really clear: If I were ABC, I would fire Jimmy Kimmel. But the government should stay completely out of this controversy.
Kimmel has a right to speak and even say incredibly stupid, tasteless, and unfunny things on his show without federal crackdown. ABC has the right to air this garbage. And Disney has the right to employ him.
But that doesn't mean Kimmel SHOULD say it. It doesn't mean ABC and Disney should do nothing. And it definitely doesn't mean you and I have to give a dime to The Mouse.
Kimmel, ABC, and Disney are proving that they don't have any standards. They don't care about the responsibility they have as broadcasters to not pour gasoline on a fire. But that's not a government issue. Want to see real change? Let Disney know with your pocketbook.

In ancient times, the environment was chaotic, hostile, and people were reactive. If someone came at you screaming, the only thing you could do was to fight back to survive.
But the times changed.
The worst thing you can do nowadays when someone comes at you screaming is to reactively escalate and fight back. A random rage incident from a random stranger can destroy your life if you are reactive.
I have many personal examples. Multiple people I know went to jail or were killed because of their stupid fearful reactiveness in situations which were not even dangerous.
When I was being framed, I didn't react and my fake charges were dropped. You are controlling your life. Don't be a reactive fearful monkey.

This is what I find unsettling about the left’s most recent assassin. He says things that sound a lot like what you hear on MSNBC, CNN, Atlantic, your lefty friends on Facebook, etc.

All Things Considered did a story about the shooter, addressing the question of whether he had been radicalized by left-wing content on the internet. The host concluded that, no, actually, his views are really quite mainstream. The correspondent chimed in to ask whether this isn’t actually scarier, in its own way. The host pushed passed his question and reiterated that the shooter’s views appear to be quite widely held.
