@darren_stallcup I had the misfortune of living in “corporate housing” on Geary between Jones & Leavenworth. Sirens all night punctuated by gunfire. Drug addicts, prostitutes, mentally ill, aggressive homeless, thieves, pickpockets & worse at all hours. This was 2007. Can’t imagine how it is now.

Also, publishing & mischaracterizing leaked US military intelligence re Ukraine in wartime seriously damages the security interests of the US and its ally Ukraine. @richieSF2016 What do you think about returning to city-wide elections for the Board of Supervisors? Would that result in more moderate candidates since they have to appeal to a broad spectrum of voters? Or make it worse? Or no change?

Hillary Clinton with her “reset” and President George Bush with his “I looked the man (Putin) in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy. I was able to get a sense of his soul.” Obviously not.

I remember one important moment in history when @HillaryClinton happily pressed the red button of "Reset" with @MedvedevRussiaE. And here we are. Hillary didn't care and gone (her husband disarmed Ukraine), Medvedev turned into a drunkard, and the only power defending Europe is... #Ukraine.

Whoops! Seems current San Francisco Board of Supervisor member, and now candidate for mayor Ahsha Safai forgot how he and colleagues polled at just 8% approval not too long ago.

@Kasparov63 It’s the height of hypocrisy. He’s enabling censorship and doing the bidding of a dictator. Limiting access to only those tweets that are pro-government is much worse than not having access to Twitter at all.

This is a choice these companies can make, even to the point of directly aiding US enemies and rivals. But the hypocrisy of doing so while claiming the mantle of free speech and human rights is pathetic. Call the autocrats’ bluffs and expose their threats or shut up.

@NorthBeachJohn1 Agreed. It might be the case that people who were already opioid addicts that got evicted turned to fentanyl. It’s hard to believe that people w/no substance or alcohol use disorder who get evicted end up as fentanyl addicts. Maybe a handful.

Almost none of the fentanyl addicts on our streets were evicted in SF. There is no eviction crisis, there is a fentanyl crisis. It’s all drugs.
