Only the biggest gatekeepers in DJing talk about “gatekeeping”. Real community is supporting other artists even when you’re not on top and it serves you in no way. Its also putting other DJs you dont know on and paying them fairly. Is this you or are you a “gatekeeper”?

Calgary needs a scene reboot. Certain perennial event hosts and venues should just go away. Like why are you booking the same shit you booked 10 years ago and it wasn’t relevant or good 10 years ago? I feel sad for Calgary kids as you see these people just hanging on forever.
