Ridiculous!Trump’s recent executive orders don’t deed land to ‘the people’—they roll back protections and open federal lands to logging, drilling, mining and other industrial uses. The beneficiaries are timber, fossil fuel and mining corporations, not ordinary Americans. These orders fast‑track permits and strip environmental safeguards so companies can exploit public lands more cheaply. Calling this ‘giving land back’ is classic spin. The lands remain federal; what changes is that protections are removed and private industry gets easier access to cut, drill and mine.

Sharing some recent history before Big Thursday arrives ... x.com/Ike_Saul/statu…
Isaac Saul@Ike_Saul

A reminder on the evolution of 2020 "stolen election" theories: First we had mail-in fraud + Dominion + "illegal law changes" (Nov–Dec 2020) then → Georgia election workers + foreign interference/Italygate (Dec 2020–Jan 2021, concurrent) then → 2,000 Mules (ballot stuffers) (2022) then → social-media-censorship revival via Twitter Files (Dec 2022) then → renewed foreign-interference claims (2024–present). Through all this, we've had: 1. Dominion getting $787 million from Fox News for defamation 2. Rudy Giuliani admitting he lied about Georgia election workers (and the jury awarding the workers $148 million) 3. Sidney Powell admitting in court "no reasonable person would conclude" her claims of election fraud “were truly statements of fact" 4. The Gateway Pundit retracting claims of election fraud in Atlanta 5. The Media company that put out D'Souza's 2,000 Mules film apologizing and removing it after law enforcement proved it falsely accused people of fraud 6. Newsmax and One America News Network (OANN) settling with Smartmatic It is NOT true that none of these allegations have seen a court room. Most have. Of the 64 cases of fraud that Trump and his legal team filed in court, 30 were dismissed that included a hearing on the merits, 14 were voluntarily dismissed by Trump and his allies before a hearing, and just 20 were dismissed for lack of standing before a hearing on the merits. One case, involving far too few votes to impact the election, prevailed in Pennsylvania. That case was about voter ID deadlines, not election fraud. Those are the facts. Whatever happens Thursday night, please try to remember them.

THE BARBARIANS ARE INSIDE THE GATE! We are fighting right now in Congress over whether we're going to maintain our status as a constitutional republic OR trade that in, dismantle the foundations and GO DOWN THIS DARK ROAD OF DEATH TO COMMUNISM. THAT is the question.

At the beginning, Johnson was a bit boastful about his credentials. Then why is he lumping together nonsense? He is drawing on a long-standing conservative Christian polemic that portrays Marxism, socialism, and communism as “materialist” ideologies that deny the soul, God, and transcendent moral order, and therefore as fundamentally opposed to Christianity. From that vantage point, the fact that classical Marxism is atheist, that many communist regimes promoted atheism, and that some socialists are secular gets turned into a sweeping claim that all three are, by definition, “anti‑God” and essentially the same thing. This is rhetorically effective but analytically sloppy: it erases the differences among the doctrines, ignores religious socialists and Christian social democrats, and treats complex economic and political theories as if they were simply rival religions

And as for the cases about the 2020 election... Independent analyses (including conservative legal scholars ) found that in about 30 of the roughly 60–64 post‑2020 election cases, courts actually held hearings on the merits, looked at the evidence, and rejected the claims because they were not supported. (judicature.duke) Judges—including Republican and Trump‑appointed judges—repeatedly described the submissions as speculation, hearsay, anonymous affidavits, or data that did not show outcome‑changing fraud. (reuters+3) The reality is: when Trump’s allies did get into court and present “evidence,” they lost almost every single time because the evidence wasn’t there.

Since you're educating me on legal terms, I'm going to share some definitions that I needed to find: Standing means you have to be the right person bringing the case (you must be directly affected); many suits were tossed because random individuals or entities were asking for sweeping remedies they had no legal right to demand.usatoday+1 Mootness means the issue is already resolved or the requested remedy is no longer legally possible (e.g., trying to undo certification after deadlines have passed).campaignlegal+1 Laches means you waited too long to sue; you can’t sit on your hands until after you see the results and then try to change the rules retroactively.campaignlegal These are not “bullshit” excuses; they’re basic rule‑of‑law concepts that apply in every kind of case, not just elections.

I tried taking a mental health break from political posts, but the news that Trump's giving a speech- in 2026- to declare the 2020 senate elections "illegitimate" has dragged me back in! This delusional, shell of a human can't accept he lost. And knows that voters doubting our processes, so he can suppress the vote, is his only hope in the midterms. How can anyone still think he's a tough guy? He's such a colossal, whiny baby.

There’s no public evidence for Trump’s story about “300 yards” of Reflecting Pool floor being slashed and pulled up. Reporters inspected the drained pool and found no such damage, and Park Service filings only mention relatively small cuts in sealant/liner, not a vast gash. Multiple outlets and fact‑checkers note that Trump’s numbers keep changing and he has never produced the photos or proof he claims to have.

What a beautiful explanation of a beautiful area of the US. I'm sorry for people who did not have parents like mine, taking me to every corner of our new land after we came as refugees after WW II. You can't see Mt. Rainier, the Oregon coast, the Four Corners, the wetlands of Florida and not develop a powerful sense of love. x.com/StoriesBySammi…
Sammi🦋@StoriesBySammi

Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante just lost 2.9 MILLION acres of protection... not to save the land. To mine it. Grand Staircase-Escalante was designated in 1996 by Bill Clinton, one of the largest monuments in the Lower 48, home to a fossil record so rich it's produced dinosaur species previously unknown to science. Bears Ears came 20 years later in 2016, after the Navajo Nation, Hopi, Zuni, Ute Indian Tribe, and Ute Mountain Ute spent years fighting for it themselves, the first time tribes successfully designed and helped manage protection of their own ancestral homeland. Trump cut both once already, in 2017. Bears Ears by 85%, Grand Staircase by nearly half. Biden restored them fully in 2021. This time, he didn't just repeat it. He obliterated it. Bears Ears drops from 1.36 million acres to about 121,000. Grand Staircase drops from 1.87 million acres to about 181,500. Combined, more than 2.9 million acres stripped of protection in a single afternoon, the largest rollback of public land protection in American history. This wasn't improvised. Project 2025 called Trump's first-term cuts "insufficient" because only one state was touched, and demanded a second round, more sweeping this time. This is that round. It goes further still: Project 2025 says the administration must "vigorously defend" these cuts specifically to force a Supreme Court ruling on whether presidents can abolish monuments entirely. If that ruling favors Trump, every one of the 31 national monuments managed by the BLM nationwide becomes vulnerable, from Utah to Arizona to Maine, which Project 2025 already names as a future target. The new proclamation for Bears Ears specifically calls out the minerals now open for extraction: copper and uranium. Sacred land, ancestral homeland, more than 100,000 archaeological sites, and the plan is mining. None of the five tribes who helped build Bears Ears' management plan were consulted this time. And it's happening while the largest wildfire currently burning in the country rages inside Bears Ears itself. 91% of Western voters, including 87% of Trump's own supporters, want monuments protected, not shrunk. Utah polling backs that up too, most Utahns want the monuments kept intact. Since when does "unfair to the people of Utah" mean setting up a Supreme Court case to strip protection from every monument in the country? #DemsUnited

MORALITY????? By stripping protections and opening millions of acres of public land to drilling, mining, logging and off‑road vehicles. That’s a win for corporations, not for ordinary Americans. Public lands were protected for clean water, wildlife, climate, Indigenous rights and recreation. Gutting those safeguards is not ‘giving land back,’ it’s turning shared heritage into an industrial wasteland.

If that's what you voted for, maybe some voting SHOULD be suppressed! No, he didn’t hand land to ‘the people’ — he stripped protections and opened millions of acres of public land to drilling, mining, logging and off‑road vehicles. That’s a win for corporations, not for ordinary Americans. Public lands weren’t ‘locked away,’ they were protected for clean water, wildlife, climate, Indigenous rights and recreation. Gutting those safeguards is not ‘giving land back,’ it’s turning shared heritage into an industrial sacrifice zone.

And since I'm over 80, there aren't too many lemmings left to go over any cliffs with ... but I did teach English. Hint: "it's" stands for "it is" and "its" means "belonging to it". Always sound out the letter the apostrophe is replacing. Now, if you're going to use "your" or "you're", you can get that🥺 right as well!

Oh, Patrick, you must be a lawyer - I'm definitely not. From my reading, “Zero investigatory powers” isn’t accurate—courts can and do evaluate evidence when it’s presented. In these cases, claims were repeatedly dismissed because they lacked credible evidence, not because judges refused to look at it. And “procedural grounds” isn’t a loophole—it means the cases didn’t meet basic legal standards to proceed. After years, dozens of rulings, audits, and recounts (many led by Republicans), there’s still no substantiated evidence of outcome-changing fraud. If “NPC lemming” means I accept evidence, court rulings, and basic standards of proof, I’m comfortable with that.

Anyone deluded by this twisted use of numbers and ethnicities? For each listed ethnicity, the percentage of U.S. households of that ethnicity that receive SNAP, e.g. “Afghan – 45.6%.” That is not the same as saying “45.6% of all SNAP money goes to Afghans” or that “45% of all Afghans in the U.S. are undocumented and on ‘free food’”; it simply says that among Afghan households, a relatively high share qualify for SNAP, which is exactly what you’d expect for a small, recently resettled refugee population with low initial income and high poverty rates.

What a crappy way to use "statistics". Checkthe facts!! Are “illegals” on SNAP? Federal law bars undocumented immigrants from receiving SNAP benefits. They are ineligible for most “federal public benefits,” including SNAP, regular Medicaid, TANF and SSI. SNAP is a household program, so an undocumented parent can apply on behalf of U.S.-citizen or otherwise eligible children, but the benefit amount is calculated only for the eligible members, not the undocumented parent. Non‑citizens who can receive SNAP must fall into “qualified” categories (lawful permanent residents after waiting periods, refugees, asylees, certain parolees, trafficking victims, some Afghan/Iraqi SIVs, etc.), and they still have to meet the same low‑income rules as citizens. So the framing “If ILLEGALS were removed from SNAP the cost would reduce 70%” is simply false: undocumented people are already excluded from SNAP, and there is no credible source showing anything like a 70% cost reduction from removing non‑citizens.

America spends $7.8B monthly on SNAP. If ILLEGALS were removed from SNAP the cost would reduce 70%. If all benefits were CUT OFF they would LEAVE. 45% of ALL AFGHANI’s living in America receive FREE FOOD from YOU. Is this your American dream? Cause it sure isn't mine.
