There was no reason for NolOdysseus to do this. Or to listen to the Sirens' song. Felt so out of character. None of the encounters had any meaning. Like filler eps in a movie. It feels like LLM writing because only the sack of Troy and last minutes contribute to the narrative.

Im surprised more people aren’t talking about just how atrocious this scene is in the Odyssey. Nolan took a part of the story about savage giants who throw boulders at and eat Odysseus’s crew and changed them to be weird 12ft tall medieval knights or something.
