I am unemployed. Today, I went to submit a form for a contractual teaching job. While standing in the queue, I saw my teacher — the one who taught me 12 years ago — standing in the same line. And I just felt so shitty inside. I went to Millennium Park and rode the carousel like some psycho loner. And you know what? He calls me half an hour later like "where are you?" Meaning he was talking to her that whole half hour and didn't even notice I was gone. I'm gonna eat some ice cream now, maybe cry, and fuck it - I'm done going on dates.😭😭
