There's a strange alignment of Aountu with right wing racists.

As a notable case comes to an end today, my thoughts are with those who lost their lives at the hands of terrorists, whether in NI, GB or further afield. That includes terrorism by the IRA and indeed other paramilitary terrorist groups, the UVF, INLA & UDA who were shamefully not proscribed until 1992. Make no mistake; at no stage did terrorists speak for the people of NI despite what others may try to tell you or explain away now. We will never be able to match the courage of all those victims and survivors who fight for truth & justice.

The statement from claimant’s solicitors sets out events in specific detail, which dismantles the assertion this was any kind of victory for Adams. He threatened them with life-changing personal costs, aided by an extraordinarily sympathetic court, and then offered to pay his own costs to settle the case. If Adams was so confident of victory, why agree to pay his own costs running to likely well over £100k?
