CY0S FT8 ops have begun. F/H frequencies may vary due to multiple DXpeditions using the usual F/H and MSHV spectrums. We know our FT8 times are drifting and the team is working the issue. Antenna work continues. Good luck!

@Dl6Mi Just a few Km probably about 5 I have a ssb contact about 32Km. Haven’t had the chance to try anything further. Will make an attempt once it gets warmer here.

@_dg9ma @Dl6Mi What program do you control the transceiver with ? Pstrotator ? PCSAT32 ? With what settings ? I saw your CQ yesterday but didn't respond, even though I entered digipeater a few days ago without any problem.

Finally did my first QSO via BDSAT-2 Digi 9k6 VHF at 10:43utc with @Dl6Mi thanks! Seems uplink needs to be tuned precisely +/- 1 KHz. Looking forward to more QSOs! Who like to try? 🛰️😉

@ES4RM I feel with you. PKT is not the best mode for a MEO Sat. A Linear transponder would be perfect.

Seems time to stop greencubing. It’s time wasting. Absolutely impossible to breakthrough European wall on western passes. South and Western Europe have excellent footpath, but here on northern part of this planet I have at least few minutes. #hamradio #amsat

Does someone is using a single IC-705 for satellite? If yes, did you think about Doppler correction with nano computer or android?

@_dg9ma @Dl6Mi Since I learned about this sat, I have read about the poor state of the FM repeater. Can I ask what power/antenna etc. you used to make the QSO?

After several attempts I finally managed my first QSO via Sat🛰️CAS-2T with @Dl6Mi Interestingly the best downlink signal was not at TCA but about 30 degrees before LOS. The Sat was in sunlight for about 25 minutes before we did the QSO. youtube.com/watch?v=YqIB5O… #amsat #hamr
