Vivek, I’m pleased you wrote about this. Much to consider. I was not a fan of the novel. I found it antiseptic. Beautiful people, beautiful setting, supportive family who are all steeped in an idealized version of Western Cultural heritage. In short a fantasy. twitter.com/vivekshraya/st…

@elamin88 I was so skeptical and then my fiancé bought one and now (literally right now) I'm eating the most tender shredded chicken for lunch. It has made meal prep so much easier that I actually just signed in to Twitter to endorse the Instant Pot, too!



The below image from ANNIHILATION is only mere taste of audacious weirdness that Alex Garland's film offers. By final 15 minutes, I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing on-screen. @jeffvandermeer fans, and anyone looking for big-budget ideas-based sci-fi, will be thrilled.
