So I’m calling that Andy Burnham will try his best to get the country on side by any means possible. And just before the budget comes out late Oct/Nov he’ll call a general election as this would be @UKLabour ‘s only tactical chance of staying in power. PC Andrew Harper was dragged to his death at 42mph. His uniform was torn off and his injuries were so bad that first responders thought he was a deer carcass. The men who killed him showed zero remorse they even laughed in court. They got just 13 years each for manslaughter. Now, under Labour’s new early release scheme, two of them could walk free after only 6.5 years. This is a total insult to PC Harper, his family, and every police officer. Killing a cop and showing no regret should mean real time behind bars — not a slap on the wrist because prisons are full. Everyone knows the standard of living in the UK is terrible. A couple used to be able to afford two kids and a home on one income. People weren’t permanently stressed. Now, families can struggle on two salaries. Energy bills are the highest in the world. House prices are crazy. A modest home is beyond the budget of many. People wait to have kids until they can afford it - and that day gets further away. Many will never have a child. In the US or in pretty much any other country life would be easier. Salaries go further, bills and houses are cheaper. Things work. You can see a doctor. My heart breaks for the British people. They have been betrayed by successive greedy, shortsighted, foolish governments. Wages have been driven down, and house prices inflated, by uncontrolled immigration. Many younger people now look to escape abroad to have any kind of future. It shouldn’t be like this.

This is utterly horrific. It pains me greatly to know that such a good woman was so violently robbed of her precious life. Rest in peace Ann ❤️

This is shocking. Restore Britain’s Greater Manchester mayoral candidate, Marlon West (@MarlonTag), is a qualified mental health nurse. Marlon has spent 30 years working in the NHS across Greater Manchester. He has just been suspended by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, days before the election. Evidently, the timing of the suspension is very questionable. For those who don’t know, Marlon’s daughter was raped and abused by gangs of Pakistani men in Greater Manchester.
