@RTEsport We need more multi sport stadiums. Rugby, GAA & football needs to share stadiums. And dare I said, league of Ireland clubs should share stadiums.

@LOIPDNews @Doiregaa @derrycityfc @EuropaLeague @sligorovers This is a great idea. We need more multi sport stadiums in this country. Always wondered where Finn Harps, Derry City, Sligo Rovers and other clubs would play European matches if they made it to the group stages.

Celtic Park, home of @Doiregaa, could host League of Ireland games next season with @derrycityfc set to install a grass pitch at the Brandywell! 🌱 The surface will be replaced ahead of their @EuropaLeague campaign! 🇪🇺 The Showgrounds (@sligorovers) is also being considered! 🏟️

Makes the most sense. I'd love to see more GAA grounds open up to other sports. The GAA has always been about inclusion and community and the soccer clubs are just as part and parcel of a community as the GAA and other clubs. Similar to Galway. This is great to see.

@MWCrispyRoll @KarlWDuncan I do think that’s a misconception, depending on where you live. Rural clubs can be tough because of the numbers, they can’t field teams for beginners. But for Cities or larger towns there’s loads of clubs.

@KarlWDuncan Is there many clubs that accommodate total beginners this? A big criticism i havw of the GAA is that it’s not very easy for new arrivals to Ireland or late bloomers etc to enter the sport after missing the childhood training window.

Played Gaelic Football for the first time in my life today. Just before my 24th Birthday. Looking forward to playing reguarly now. Never too late to start. 🏐

A campaign full of fine margins, unfortunately. Shkendija and Drita were both games we could have (and arguably should have) won based on the balance of play. Could have stolen something in Alkmaar. Hopefully a learning experience for the future. Need a killer instinct in Europe
