Is there any analysis on residual SYNTAX score? I’m curious if higher mortality could be confounded by undertreated CAD and hence more BB Rx for residual angina.

I am glad to share our observational study, which adds to the growing evidence on beta-blockers post-PCI in the upcoming issue of @JACCJournals for stable CAD with preserved LVEF. Thank you, Dr. Safi Khan, for providing continuous mentorship. 📊 Key Findings: •Higher all-cause mortality in patients initiated on beta-blockers. •No significant reduction in cardiovascular events like heart failure, stroke, or myocardial infarction. •Increased risk of hospitalization due to hypotension. These results align with a recent NEJM randomized controlled trial, which also challenges the routine use of beta-blockers in this patient population.
