Part 1: Health update...I'm recovering from a broken hip. Almost walking w/out pain. I fell at home. I had several fainting/falls last November. One at school. My doc told me that my heart was not functioning and that combined with AFIB and a heart rate of 30-40 beats was why.

Part 4: Health update. My contract with USC has ended and I'm no longer teaching full time. While I recover this summer I'll continue with physical therapy to rehab my body and esp. my hand. In he meantime I'm going to "mine" my sketches and use AI to bring them to life.

@DLooseDesign Almost 40 years ago my dad had a stroke and lost control of his right side. With lots of effort learned how to use his left hand, and eventually got his right hand back. You only need to keep exercising, and dont giving up!

Part 3: Health update. I'll be 73 in August, my whole focus is getting better now. That includes trying to rehab my drawing hand which was injured in the car accident 2 years ago...and doesn't work. I'm working on getting that drawing ability back.

30 years ago...when I started my journey as a game artist, working on a Myst-like adventure game. I created a sketch of a"Seance Machine" harnessing the ectoplasm of the dead, with skulls as filaments in glass vacuum tubes. AI is Amazing, ONLY if you have a vision and a story...

Part 2 : Health update. W/meds and rest my heart recovered to the point where I could have a pacemaker placed in my chest April 21. My heart beat is now a strong 60 BPM. And I feel great. Now I'm in physical therapy because of extreme weight loss. Down to 160. Muscles are asleep

My best friend Cal died last Fall and I still think about him and grieve his loss. That keeps him close. It's like grief has hollowed out a spot in me for his memory. Like an internal shrine maybe. Thinking of you Hatchy...

It's ok if you only play BattleTech on the tabletop. It's ok if you only read the novels. It's ok if you only enjoy Alpha Strike. It's ok if you only play the video games. It's ok if you're only in it for the lore. All of BattleTech and MechWarrior is awesome, and so are you.

I made a new headshot. I liked the old one, but I looked grumpy. So I used it as a reference and had my AI buddy HAL add a smile...I like it better. And my inner grump doesn't care what you think. :)
