We report trialkylphosphine-derived Ni(I)-dimers & their application, guided by machine-learning. Such ligands are ineffective at displacing COD from Ni(COD)2, offering an alternative access to trialkylphosphine-bound Ni species. Have a look @J_A_C_S:
