The International Day of Pink started in 2007 when a teenager faced homophobic bullying at a Nova Scotia high school for wearing a pink t-shirt. Students organized to wear pink as an act of solidarity. It is now a day of action. Everyone should feel safe & welcomed at school.

Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome day. 3/21 was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. Please join us by wearing blue and yellow or mismatched socks to mimic the chromosomes.
