@jadexskywalker Probably because of how brutally you worded it. The dislike for Web Planet, I mean. Hartnell's era has a couple of bad stories tbh. Web Planet and The Gunfighters are not great stories. The Celestial Toymaker is also very mediocre. Episode 4 happens to be the best one.

I absolutely adore the Hartnell era. I love how cheap it is and what they managed with the tiny budgets, I enjoy almost every story, I love the companions, I love the First Doctor. It's one of my favourite eras in the series. Forgive me for not enjoying ONE of them. 😭

I think the only real option you have of getting a Street Fighter character in this game is M. Bison. You're not going to see Ryu and Chun-Li gutted and decapitated. M. Bison though is the big bad and it's not even his body anyway. He always gets new ones. Maybe Akuma. Maybe.

Ed Boon was asked in recent interview, what character(s) he would like to get into the next Mortal Kombat game. He listed: 🔘 Street Fighter 🔘 Marvel 🔘 DC What Street fighter, Marvel or DC character(s) would you like to see in a MK game? 👀 Personally, Deadpool, Venom or Ghost Rider would be cool! Also back in 2024, the Street fighter Director was also open to a Mortal Kombat character appearing in their game. Both parties have now experienced interest! Someone has to make the first move. Warner Bros or Capcom!

@Falkynn @MugenLord Yes and no. This was their west obsession phase leftover from Inafune. They were outsourcing to western companies to make games for them. So they weren't making them first hand but it's theirs. They own the rights to this IP entirely, confirmed by Don't Nod.

@MugenLord Studio behind this game is Don't Nod. They made Life Is Strange and Vampyr. And more recently... Aphelion. Capcom is just the publisher here

Who remembers this rare Capcom IP? I never had the opportunity to grab this game when it was promoted. But it looked interesting, and the Lead Character was a black woman, which no one had an issue with, which people today will have you believe the opposite. I would love to see Capcom revisit this.

@MugenLord I have it because it was Capcom. Was never really interested in it. I remember the Devs made a big point about her being bisexual. I think nobody had an issue because it was a new IP that nobody gave a shit about. Don't Nod went onto make Life Is Strange of course.

@BigBlueCandle @DondozoDude Woah. Long rant for nothing. I dislike Gen V for a bunch of reasons, inside and outside of the Pokémon themselves. If I find "Klinklang" more uninspired than other lazy ideas, then I just do. I don't need respect for that, Nor did I ask for it. I appreciate the passion tho.

@DOA_Core @DondozoDude I'd honestly respect the criticism more if you just said you dislike gen 5 pokemon because they're ugly or because they're too cartoonish. At least those are grounded in subjective complaints and not just arbitrary standards for pokemon design that conflict with every other gen.

@DialAForAwesome @itsKovoN @DondozoDude Shii. I didn't even know Diglett had a final evolution called DiglettDugtrio. What happened to Magnezone? Did they replace that one with MagnemiteMagneton? I gotta be honest with you, I prefer Magnezone. Much more creative. Shouldn't have replaced that one.

@UnholyCasserole @DondozoDude Pokémon as a franchise started dipping in quality post gen 4. Picking on gen or 8 or 9 specifically I'm sure would be bullying because it's such an easy target at that point. Would be like roasting a disabled friend. Not very kosher. And you're likely to feel bad after.

Alakazam is a really cool looking Pokémon. I've appreciated it more now than when I was a kid. No problems with it.

@itsKovoN @DondozoDude Entitled to like whatever. But Koffing and Weezing don't have a third evolution called KoffingWeezing same for Alakazam. It's not Abra > Kadabra > AbraKadabra. With an Abra and Kadabra stuck together.

@6uzm4n @AribataSatoru @4head68419 @DondozoDude No, parts of those names are still different. A fair few Pokémon will retain in part due to linking evolution. That's an artistic choice. If we went by that, a lot of Pokémon would be considered lazy, including the Pikachu, Duskull lines etc. You really, really tried though.

The only plausible explanation is that he may* have had it in small parts of his body, then proceeded to bleaching the rest of his skin as the evidence shows there’s evidence of it all over his house.

I think I might skip DOA6LR. I absolutely adore DOA and all but I'm not getting anything that isn't in the original except two outfits and some lighting. If it came to Switch 2 I would double dip because of portable ease and most of my stuff is on there these days... But ye.
