@Damonashu @viking_gumball I mean if you've seen how he is with her in Sun and Moon and Journeys (well I guess you haven't) then yeah he's definitely very nostalgic of the times he's traveled with Brock and Misty, and with Misty especially he feels more free to let loose

Gen 3/4/6 and journeys (unfortunately) the opponents were genuine champion lvl threats with stacked teams or had great strategies. Kakui not included alola trainers were weak. Gladion and guzma included

@gamebuilder2000 @PokeDailyPost Well, you gotta remember that it’s technically the same Mewtwo in a different continuity. So the Mewtwo Ash met is in some way the same one that red met. They both are the first/only Mewtwo. (Unless in the anime if you count the genesect movie as canon.)

Big difference between "fans of Ash" and "Ash fans"!
The latter fails to see that; by all accounts of narrative theory; Ash is a failure of a protag. He only got respected when he started winning as course correction. General audience (and regular PKMN fans) dont see him highly!
