Watching the Dolphins is more enjoyable now that I've sold Cobbo. Took a chance on him as a round 1 pod and just couldn't get him out of my side till this week. Cost me heaps of points and so frustrating to watch

The Tanah Boyd and CHT halves combination must remain. The form and connection between the two showed on the weekend against the Storm. I’m a big Luke Metcalf fan. But you can’t deny that neither of these two deserved to be dropped. Metcalf comes back and he will be playing NSW Cup. The only way Metcalf gets back if he’s 100 per cent fit and if either Boyd or CHT drop off in form.

🕵️‍♂️ SLEEPER AGENTS🕵️‍♂️ In this weekly post, @ask10inthebin and I analyse 4 players that no one is talking about, and why they should be standing out. 10 in the Bin: Robert Toia ($636.3k, 1.9%) exploded before the bye, and has thus flown under the radar as a trade-in this week. With a -5 BE and injuries to popular players such as Reece Walsh and Critta, he looks a great high floor-high ceiling option with money incoming. It was also brought to my attention that the centre outside of DCE tends to be very relevant (think Garrick the last couple of years). This guy had 60pts in B+P against the Panthers, and has a pretty soft draw to come the next 6 weeks. SC Guns: Mark Nawaqantiwase ($675k, 3.9%) started slowly this year, but tonned up against manly before the bye. I suspect coming off that bye, the roosters will be back on, and that attack will be humming. I can’t wait to see Mark’s high floor, and immense upside, in a chooks attack that has the personnel to rack up the points. 10 in the Bin: I’m buying into the narrative that Haumole Olakau’atu ($676k, 4.1%) has been unlocked by Fozball. When given early ball, Guac’s running game is destructive and he’s a power stat machine. I feel for Dan Atkinson (or Flanagan, however they line up) who will be targeted and isolated all game this weekend. Dragons, Cowboys, Eels to come. Great time to get on before the big price rises! SC Guns: Kotoni Staggs ($685k, 0.8% owned) is quietly having a stellar season. His last 3 games in particular, he has really turned it on, and without Reece Walsh at fullback, the play might be to give Staggs a lot of early ball and let him run havoc. A high base, a lot of attacking stats in a very good attacking team. It’s the best formula for a gun CTW. #NRLSuperCoach #SuperCoach #NRLFantasy #NRL

A lot more will be known about Stephen Crichton’s expected return date when his AC joint injury settles down in the coming days, but at this stage the Bulldogs expect him to miss between 4 to 8 weeks (via @SMHsport) Crichton reportedly suffered a Grade 5 AC joint injury - effectively a more pronounced/separated Grade 3 (complete tear), leaves a significant “step” in shoulder. Still possible for NRL players to avoid surgery for a significant ACJ injury like this - challenge to manage pain & get range/strength back quickly.

Frustrations in the EFL Cup final and now FA Cup quarter-final will be forgotten if Arsenal win the title. It’s always been about the league for Arsenal this season. 22 years since the Invincibles. Being best in the land, the champions, matters most. Lessons from St Mary’s still need to be taken: more players need to stand up to be counted, Max Dowman has to be given a run of starts now, wide or 10, and short-corner routines should be used only occasionally. Return of Raya, Timber, Saliba, Hincapie, Rice, Gyokeres and Saka (when fit and fatigue-free) to starting XI will help. #SOUARS

The @brisbanebroncos team of 1996 won their first eight games of the year, scoring 300 points (at an average of 37.75) and conceding 82 points (at an average of 10.25). They were not even one of the last 4 teams standing at the conclusion of that season. Still very early days!
