@TransferSector This midget is one player I loathe. Technically gifted player but very dirty. How is Liverpoolyour main rivals when they won 1 epl title out of 5/6?

Bernardo Silva on Arsenal: “They’ve been growing and… well, it’s a team that has been together for, what, five years now, so it’s only natural that they would man up a little bit and start challenging for titles, so, yeah, let’s see what happens. “No, I’m not in love [with Arsenal]. I do believe our main rivals were Liverpool by far. I also believe - and I know this is very subjective - that if we were not in a transitional season and if we didn’t make so many mistakes, we would have won this league. I don’t say we would have won easily, but we would have won this league. So it’s quite frustrating.” [@OliverKay] nytimes.com/athletic/72804…

@HBM_afc Starting Havertz any day of the week if he’s fit. Gyokeres just doesn’t have it unfortunately. Everything was so smoothing in front when Havertz came on. Linking up and displaying ball control.

Havertz must start the remaining games of the season if he’s fit enough. Gyökeres is still a liability in general play and doesn’t do near enough in the box. Hugely reduces our ability to go long and cross the ball into the area.

Question for Arsenal fans. All things being considered over the full course of the season. Who’s been Arsenal’s best, most impactful and relevant summer signing?

@10ryno @FootballEra_ Your analysis is spot on and it's none biased. Unlike the majority in the comments lol. Gyokeres is average...majority of those goals were when we battered a team. Zubimendi is decent - nothing special. Eze is a flashing CAM... just reels. Madueke is just red flag ...rubbish

@FootballEra_ I dont think any have blown away, they have all baring Norgaard have made impacts here and there. Cant chose one, Zubi has played the most and I think his style makes us boring cos he doesn’t turn and go forward and Victor has been very poo and had a few good games

Mikel Arteta made some of the biggest calls he’s ever made today and he’s doing stuff I’d never expect. That decision to play Rice at right-back was wrong and he realised his mistake and switched it shortly after by bringing in Mosquera. He then substituted the substitute in Zubimendi because he was nowhere near the required level. Bringing in Odegaard who changed the match. Even Madueke for Saka was positive. Unbelievable management.

@Vfynn_ Here we go with the British pundits. They are starting to unsettle another foreign player. They do this every time a good player like Cherki benches their English player like Foden.

🚨🎙️| Jamie Carragher on Phil Foden vs Rayan Cherki after Manchester City’s performance against Brentford: 🗣️ “I honestly don’t understand how anyone can still pretend there isn’t a massive difference in mentality between Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki right now. The second Foden came onto that pitch for Tijjani Reijnders, Manchester City suddenly started playing like a team that actually knew they were in a title race. ‘The difference was actually clear, night and day. You could immediately feel the urgency, the intensity, the purpose in everything he did. This is what title races are about. Every touch has to mean something, every run has to hurt the opposition. Foden understands that. Cherki played like it was a preseason kickabout. Look at the overall performance levels. Cherki had moments where he wanted to look elegant, slow the game down, drift into pockets and admire his own touches, but football at this level isn’t about aura farming. There were too many moments where Brentford could reset defensively because Cherki delayed the pass, took extra touches, or tried to make the game look pretty instead of decisive. Then Foden comes on for Reijnders in the second half and suddenly City look alive again. The tempo increases immediately. He’s demanding the ball under pressure, driving directly at defenders, making third-man runs, pressing aggressively after losing possession, and most importantly, playing with desperation. That’s the mentality of a player who knows the standards at Manchester City. People talk about talent, but talent without urgency is useless in a title race. Cherki’s body language annoyed me more than anything. There were times City needed intensity and he was jogging around like the game would win itself. Foden came on angry, sharp, aggressive. He played like someone fighting for the badge. And this idea that Cherki is somehow more naturally gifted than Foden? I don’t see it. Foden is technically cleaner AND works harder. He releases the ball quicker, understands positional rotations better, presses with intelligence, and attacks spaces with conviction. The scary thing is he combines elite talent with elite work ethic. Cherki wants the game to revolve around him. Foden wants to win the game. Honestly, if Pep Guardiola is serious about winning the league, Cherki needs a wake-up call. Sit him on the bench for a few games and let him watch how a real attacking midfielder affects a title race. Right now Foden looks hungry, while Cherki looks comfortable. And comfort is dangerous at Manchester City. One player raised the energy of the entire team when he came on. The other slowed it down trying to look stylish. That tells you everything.’”

@JacintaAllanMP Smells like advertising to me. But let's take it at face value. Victoria is weak as piss for overriding this. Just let nsw take it. Nobody here wants anything to do with the antiwhite, anglo hating womens soccer team anyway. Let sydney take it. Good riddance.

@Arsenal The stage is set indeed. PSG players have no system or structure in place. All their players do is press when they don’t have the ball and pop in all areas when they have the ball in attacking areas. Leaving spaces behind for exploitation. Anything can happen in the final. COYG!
