As you guys keep digging into The Beast, don’t forget to take a look at desktop version to see all the visuals. This year you get a little cartoon @dpbrugler scouting and scribbling along in his notebook as you get to his one-liner 🥺🥹

@dpbrugler Hey Dane, can you clear up something about Keldric Faulk's age? You have him listed as 21.6 Years Old on his interactive page, but 20.6 on the PDF... And, you attribute quotes calling him "only 20" in the write up. Just curious.

@ckparrot @DOLFANKEV @gregauman Plenty to like about him. Two major hang-ups for me - not consistently accurate and too many turnovers, esp for a 6th-year SR (19 INTs, 18 fumbles over his final 24 college games).

@DOLFANKEV @gregauman @dpbrugler And he's been thick for a number of years now. The body composition not an issue. Being just shy of 6'1" will be an issue for many and that's OK. That part of it is what it is. Great arm, very elusive & athletic, playmaker, absolutely ludicrous character/leadership profile.

Caleb Downs will be "dinged" for most of his production coming near the LOS. But when OSU used him deep, he showed the same instincts and reaction skills. Cover-3 post. Read-react burst to drive on the throw. Stud.

There were 2 prospects from the International Program that NFL teams mentioned to me: EDGE Joshua Weru (Kenya): 6040, 244, 33 1/4" arms, 4.45/1.59, 41" V, 11'2" BJ DT Uar Bernard👇(Nigeria): 6045, 306, 35 3/4" arms, 4.66/1.60 (!!), 39" VJ, 10'10" BJ, 31 BP reps
Bruce Feldman@BruceFeldmanCFB

This is the biggest freak athlete in this year’s NFL draft. I’d never heard of him till two days ago. He’s from a small village in Nigeria. He is 6-4 1/2, 306 lbs and jumps 10-10. Some folks in the NFL think he’ll go on Day 3 of the draft. Free story: nytimes.com/athletic/71683…

seeing Arvell Reese at -132 to be the No. 2 pick it's early, but feels like those odds will only go in one direction

@guitarm3dic387 This isn't a "math" thing. At almost every pro day, the initial info spread around isn't what NFL teams have. People hear something and run with it. Why I didn't tweet until today when I got the numbers from an actual team. I'm telling you how it is, but believe what you'd like.

@dpbrugler Yeah ok dude. Your math isn't mathing. Your times are not off by just 0.05-0.1, some of them are off by 0.2-0.3 seconds from every other person willing to put their name to it. But sure, we trust you when you fail to even explain it beyond "times NFL teams are using".

@guitarm3dic387 I’m sharing NFL times, not agent or school or media times. Only what NFL teams are using. Pro day times are only as accurate as the source and I’ve been doing this a long time so people know where I get my info.

@dpbrugler I'm highly doubting your times. I don't see anyone corroborating the longer needed for your so-called "average between the teams" to bring their numbers up that much. Additionally if the times were actually that dispersed then why should we trust any of them?

@MiddleRoadTakes @drewfanacc It is impossible to get an accurate 40 time from dead on vertically like that. I'd be very skeptical of any 4.2 numbers going around. D'Angelo Ponds is one of my favorite players in the draft, I would love to see it. But I trust what the scouts doing the timing have.

@drewfanacc That's not how this works. At the end of a pro day, teams compare times and come up with an average time. They're almost always within 0.03 seconds. That time is sent to teams. School websites always post faster times than what teams actually have.

@dpbrugler No I’d go with what the consensus seems to be. What proof do you have that these are “nfl verified”. whats that even mean. If you have all the counted times averaged out, post them. Otherwise nobody takes you seriously. IU posted 4.31 for ponds. Im trusting them over u w no proof
