Here's a great family oriented floorplan: 1400 Square Feet, 2BR Den/1.5BA While not ideal, the rear Den *can* function as Bedroom for a family with younger kids Would more closet space & extra bathroom be nice? Yes. But good design in expensive markets is about tradeoffs.
