I think that diet is the biggest sacrifice in my life. Then, looking after your soul. No one can possibly treat your soul but you yourself. Having spent my life generally in marketing and branding I’ve still got zero idea as to why so many people are weak willed and enough to jump on brands like these. The sheep like nature of people is astonishing

@AdamSinger except the air enters from the front of the plane, and exits at the rear, smoking section was in the rear. air is not recirculated in airplanes, the entire air volume is exchanged ever 2-3 minutes

@Jiggawatt Seems not as bad, the risk of fire on a plane seems worse regardless

@AdamSinger So based on this reality when the smoking section was in the back of the plane, close to the outflow valve, the smoke was actually sucked overboard. Within a row or two you could smell it, but not the entire plane.

@AdamSinger I met an older commercial pilot in the early 2000s who said if you know where to look you could still see stains on the tarmac from condensed cigarette exhaust dripping from just-landed planes.

@ppcClickShark That they let people smoke (lighting fires) inside a pressurized cabin ...could easily drop onto a seat and start fire, jetting was still new after the failures of the comet etc, idk how you don't think it's wild in hindsight
