@AdamSinger You need to be careful with AI, your prompt biased it to the outcome you wanted. But, even with a flawed simulation, it showed that the combined entity would have failed with the fuel price shock. We would have lost JetBlue too!

@AdamSinger Unless you've got proprietary information there isn't enough data to run a real simulation to do anything other than confirm an existing opinion. And M&A folks always think deals will work, that's why they work in M&A. Much more accurate is the data we already have!

@AdamSinger If that was true then it wasn't a merger it was a firesale and it wouldn't have changed the outcome. In fact, preventing it might have saved Jetblue. And Spirit had an offer from Frontier which they could have accepted. They just wanted the Jetblue deal. Not a simple deal.

@AdamSinger Theres a huge gap in Europe between people who don't earn that much and live in places with low cost of homes vs those in HCOL. Plenty of VERY happy people I know earn very little but live in Rural France, plenty of stressed out folk work in London and earn average.

@AdamSinger An underappreciated effect of media balkanization and the creation of different reality bubbles is that the sexes gravitate towards different bubbles. The left and right inhabit different subjective realities, increasingly men and women do too.

Pretty much every chart over the last few years says women radicalized while men stayed normal, but we've seen almost no media coverage about this. Should be a huge story with ongoing coverage. Curious
