@ChewyYorkie @mliebow @GregorioSh64773 I regularly drive 10-12h trips in my Y. Charging stops take 7m on average. Only when near 0% heading out into the sticks do you see a 15m+ stop. Stop spreading disinfo, gashead
English

@mliebow @GregorioSh64773 It’s not range anxiety, it’s being forced to spend at least 30 minutes at a fast charger (that’s if you’re lucky and there isn’t a line) on a road trip greater than 300 miles instead of a quick 5 minute pit stop to gas up.
English

@greggertruck Would be insanely attractive as a buyer. Tesla should scoop up Rivian, but then again, many buy Rivians because of Elon's political influence and biases.
English

@TheJoeySwoll @X @X this is unacceptable. @TheJoeySwoll is an asset to X and the gym community. Shame on y'all for your garbage review
English

Hey @X is this a joke? I call out inappropriate behavior and content in gyms but there is NEVER any nudity and if there is, I cover it up. Millions of views which YOU get paid for and not even a discussion? There was no “thorough” review. Just one email and DONE. Do better X…

If you think I am arguing against technological progress, you should reread my comments. Properly regulated capitalism is the superior economic system for innovation.
Properly regulated in this instance means that we should collect part of the saved wages from automation to provide for educational opportunities to the occupationally displaced.

Sanders and AOC introduced a bill to pause ALL AI data center construction. 300+ local bills filed. Half of planned 2026 data centers facing delays or cancellation. Each one brings billions to local economies.
The people who say they want American jobs are trying to block the biggest job creation engine since the interstate highway system.

@vad3rt3sla Was it a full $69k cybertruck marked down or were there differences?
English

@JamespWeigel @johnspaetzel @RhoRider @garrytan You're right. The greatest benefit of capitalism is that resources and profits are fairly shared as opposed to increasingly hoarded by a tiny number of ultrarich executives and shareholders.
Arguing with idealists is a poor use of my time.

Higher wages and living standards are possible through higher productivity.
200 years ago 80% of the US workforce was in agriculture. Today it is 10%.
70 years ago 30% of the US workforce was in manufacturing, today it is 8%.
Those changes were unlocked through growth, technology, innovation, and although there are debates over some aspects of those changes (offshoring manufacturing for example) the net change that was due to productivity through technology was positive.
We forget that the purpose of the economy is not to simply give people jobs. Our jobs are meant to solve problems by assisting in creating goods and services people want. When those jobs are replaced by better methods, we all benefit.

@Weichaus @Trendies_ @TrevorScottReal Oh, wow! That's really high for HW3 from what I've seen. I rarely (RARELY) experience a necessary intervention. No critical interventions since 14.2
English

@drewbits @Trendies_ @TrevorScottReal My HW3 car drives routinely 95% of the miles on FSD
But that metric is pretty irrelevant overall when you talk about capability. It’s a correlate for sure but not causal and note the best metric to use
English

My disengagement rate is high too. It makes the DUMBEST choices about going to stores. It's a rarity that it enters the parking lot from the side that a human would.
I wonder why the training data has it so frequently entering the alleyways instead of the human entrance? Also, why does the default for FSD often go into neighborhoods and deadend roads? The default should be towards larger motorways not into nooks and crannys on the map.
I'm convinced that to have more than ninety seven percent or so means that a person is putting themselves into danger or inconvenience in order to get that high.
English

@drewbits @Trendies_ @TrevorScottReal Each week is at least 90% but often see it 95% for the week. Though my disengagement rate (which intervention > disengagement rate of course) is still high

English

@Weichaus @Trendies_ @TrevorScottReal I'll have plenty of time to meditate and cope while my car drives me nearly everywhere I go.

English

Is there a precedent for the commoditization of thought?
The existance of refined AI presents an opportunity for CEO's to shed millions of jobs (incl salary, healthcare, liability expenses). They will make this decision or be replaced by someone who will.
Neglecting to generate profit for shareholders will open any abstainers to civil liability by shareholders who will file suit.

Tesla Model Y was China’s best-selling EV SUV in 2025, and it was only a few % off the top BEV spot overall despite costing ~4x more than the Geely Galaxy Xingyuan.
On self-driving, China has strong L2/NOA systems, but “outperform Tesla” is doing a lot of work. FSD still isn’t broadly approved/fully rolled out there, so that’s not an apples-to-apples claim yet.
English

@DevinOlsenn China has self driving cars that outperform teslas in China. They have way better battery technology and they are cheaper. Tesla is leading in the US, not china.
English

So let me get this straight... A new Tesla can effectively drive itself anywhere in North America (supervised), something no other company here is even CLOSE to rivaling right now... But that's not noteworthy? In fact, you regularly discredit FSD.
But BYD shows... whatever THIS is, and you're suddenly in awe of how great the company is.
It's disappointing that a dislike for Elon leads to turning a blind eye to all of the incredible work the men and women have done at Tesla.
very weird Zack...
also congrats on notawheelchair, genuinely very cool.

BYD can't even see their competition in the rear view mirror anymore.
